Since our adopting our wonderful Annie, we wanted to give back by helping other dogs in need, especially Rotties. Almost a year after adopting Annie, we took Rajah as a foster from INKY Rottweiler rescue. However after a while with him we fell in love with him and decided to adopt him in March 2005.
In September Aida took Sheila in from INKY Rottweiler rescue for a week or so just to care for her a little bit. Sheila was a wonderful girl and we were glad to know she was adopted in October 2005.
After being mobilized to active duty to Camp Lejeune NC I found, and after researching about Rottweiler rescues in North Carolina for someone looking for a Rottie I learned about North Carolina Rottweiler Rescue . I found at their site that they had need for foster homes and after learning about how many Rotties had died for lack of foster homes I decided to volunteer to help any Rotties in need that I could. Since December 2005 I have had the pleasure of fostering a very cute girl named Rosie , a very cool middle aged guy which I named Duke, Diesel Duke , and Gandolf the wild guy. Baron came to me as a guy that I rescued myself. |
